The UK is looking to double foreign trade with Panama

British Secretary of International Trade Liam Fox will travel to Panama to bring the message as funding support will increase for the companies in the UK.

Fox is going to announce that UK Export finance's available for trading with Panama will reach 3.5 billion pounds, offering billions for financial support to exporters and buyers from the UK in Panama.

Being the fourth largest investor in Panama currently, the UK seeks new opportunities rising from Panama’s stable growth and its Canal. As a part of the trip Fox will also visit Columbia wit a similar message, Colombia has 7th highest growth rate among Latin American countries.

"Coming out of the EU is a unique opportunity to build a more open and external Britain and forge independent trade agreements with growing economies around the world," Fox said.

He added that this is the reason that as an international trade department, they are making available billions of pounds in additional financial support available to UK exporters and buyers of UK goods and services in Panama and Colombia, opening up export opportunities for British companies ".

As part of the visit, Fox will visit the Panama Canal.
